Collaborate with your team on customer outreach with shared credits and cross-product awareness

Overview

AskUsers Enterprise enables team collaboration for customer expansion. Multiple team members can work together on customer outreach while sharing credits and maintaining visibility across all products and customers.

"Own biz only" means Member role users can only perform this action on businesses they created themselves. They can view all team businesses and customers but can only make changes to their own.

Masked data: Viewer role users see customer emails as j***@example.com and financial data (total spent, payment count) is hidden. This provides visibility for reporting without exposing sensitive customer information.

Getting Started with Teams

Subscribe to Enterprise

Go to Pricing and select the Enterprise plan. Complete checkout to activate team features.

Create Your Team

  1. Go to Settings → Team
  2. Enter your team name
  3. Your team is created with you as the Owner

Invite Team Members

  1. Go to Settings → Team → Members
  2. Click Invite Member
  3. Enter the email address and select a role
  4. The invitee receives an email with a join link

Set Up Products

  1. Go to Settings → Businesses
  2. Click Create New Business
  3. Configure each product with its own description, incentives, and outreach settings

Import Customers

Import customers to each product via CSV or Stripe. The system automatically detects if a customer email exists in other team products.

Cross-Product Customer Awareness

When working with team products, AskUsers helps prevent duplicate outreach and provides visibility across products.

Customer Detection

When importing or viewing customers, you'll see:

  • "Also in X products" badge if the customer exists in other team products
  • Contact warning before emailing a customer who was recently contacted about another product
  • Cross-product timeline showing all interactions across products (for Admins)

Why Allow Duplicates?

Same customers can exist in multiple products because:

  1. Different Context: Each product needs its own analysis and personalized outreach
  2. Separate Conversations: Customer conversations about Product A are separate from Product B
  3. Independent Tracking: Reply tracking and metrics are product-specific

Admins can view a customer's complete history across all team products in the Team Admin Dashboard.

Team Credits

How Team Credits Work

  • All team members share a single credit pool
  • Any member (except Viewers) can consume credits for analysis
  • Credits are tracked per member for accountability
  • Team owner receives low-balance warnings

Credit Consumption Tracking

View credit usage by member:

  1. Go to Settings → Team → Credits
  2. See total team balance and per-member consumption
  3. View detailed transaction history

Purchasing More Credits

Team credits can be purchased as add-on packages:

How to Purchase Add-ons

Navigate to Team Settings

Go to Settings → Team in your dashboard.

Find the Add-ons Section

In the team card, you'll see buttons for "Add Member Seat" and "Add Business Slot" in the upgrade section.

Complete Checkout

  1. Click the add-on button you want to purchase
  2. You'll be redirected to Stripe Checkout
  3. Complete the payment with your card
  4. Your limits are increased immediately upon successful payment

Add-on subscriptions are tied to your team's primary Enterprise subscription and will be billed on the same billing cycle.

Team Admin Dashboard

Admins have access to a team-wide dashboard showing:

Team Analytics - Monitor email performance across all team members

  • Credit consumption by member

  • Recent customer imports
  • Emails sent today/this week

  • See which products each customer is in
  • View interaction history across products
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities

Team members receive email notifications for:

Managing Your Team

Changing Member Roles

  1. Go to Settings → Team → Members
  2. Find the member
  3. Click the role dropdown
  4. Select the new role

Removing Members

  1. Go to Settings → Team → Members
  2. Find the member
  3. Click Remove
  4. Confirm removal

Removed members lose access immediately but their past activity remains in the audit log.

Transferring Ownership

Only the Owner can transfer team ownership:

  1. Go to Settings → Team
  2. Click Transfer Ownership
  3. Select the new Owner
  4. Confirm transfer
